Dr. Followell, an optometrist, is a hometown doctor who was raised in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He received his Associate of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Northeastern State University and was conferred the Doctor of Optometry degree in May of 2007 from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.
